We are looking for a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our established healthcare team in Edmonton, Alberta.
This full-time position is ideal for a physician who enjoys providing comprehensive patient care, building long-term relationships, and working in a professional and collaborative medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients.
- Conduct consultations, medical assessments, and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment and follow-up plans.
- Provide preventive healthcare, screening, and patient education.
- Monitor and manage chronic diseases.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
- Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare providers when required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and culturally appropriate patient care.
Candidate Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
- Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
- Eligible to practise medicine in Alberta.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to high-quality and patient-centred care.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- Previous primary care or family medicine experience is preferred.
