We are looking for a motivated and patient-focused Family Physician to join our growing medical practice in Edmonton, Alberta.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values quality patient care, teamwork, and building long-term relationships with patients. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care to patients across a range of ages and medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary healthcare services.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up plans.
- Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and counselling.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
- Coordinate care and make appropriate referrals when required.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain professional standards and comply with applicable Alberta healthcare requirements.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
- Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
- Eligible to practise family medicine in Alberta.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to patient-centred care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Previous clinical experience in family medicine is an asset.
