The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and manage individualized patient care plans.
- Provide appropriate follow-up and ongoing patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients regarding their health, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Follow applicable Alberta healthcare standards, regulations, and professional requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient safety.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Eligible for or currently holding registration with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
- Eligible to practise medicine in Alberta.
- Current professional liability coverage, as required.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
